John Austin (@johndeeaustin) has extensive experience with software startups and video game technology, and a love of coaching and mentoring young entrepreneurs. From 1998-2005 he was CEO of Numerical Design, Ltd., one of the game industry’s leading providers of game engines and tools. In 2005 the company was acquired by Emergent Game Technologies, where he continued on the executive team until 2010. Most recently he has consulted with several startup video game companies. John is a co-founder of the Triangle Game Initiative and was chairperson of the 2011 and 2012 East Coast Game Conference. |

Juan Benito started the Atomic Games studio in Raleigh, NC, and before that co-founded Red Storm Entertainment in the Triangle area in 1996. He is also founder and CEO of Cooperative Entertainment, a boutique development group and consultancy, and serves as Creative Director for the Triangle Game Initiative. |
